B.J トーマスは全米1位になった代表曲くらいしか知らなかったのですが、遡って彼のヒット曲などを聴いていくと、いい曲いっぱいあります。

　人に愛し愛され…人を信じて…ちょっと性善説すぎる(^_^;)感じがしないでもないですが、きっと全米じゅうの郊外や田舎町で、家族みんなで彼の歌を聴いていたんじゃないかな…なんて光景が頭に浮かびます。

この曲“No Love At All”もなかなか良い曲だよな。





◆“No Love at All“の作者はジョニー・クリストファーとウェイン・C・トンプソン。当初はカントリーミュージックアーティストのリン・アンダーソンがレコーディングし、1970年6月にコロンビアレコードからシングルとしてリリースし、ビルボードのホットカントリーシングルチャートで15位になりました。

◆B.J.トーマスはリンの翌年。1971年にこの曲をカバー。こちらは全米ビルボードHot100で最高位16位のヒットとなりました。
